Hi I’m Gem,

I started Baseline because I know what it’s like to be new to something - excited, curious, and unsure where to start. When I first began cycling, I had no mentor, no guidance, and learned everything the hard way through trial, error, and a lot of persistence. I learned through trial & error and with unparalleled persistence. This experience shaped how I approach physiotherapy and coaching today.

With over a decade of riding and racing experience and years working as a physiotherapist in Melbourne, I’ve seen how movement, mindset, and performance all connect. That understanding is what drives my approach at Baseline - helping people build strength, move well, and stay injury-free for the long term.

At Baseline, every session is practical and evidence-based. Whether it’s strength and conditioning, bike fitting, or physiotherapy for injury treatment, management, and recovery, I focus on giving you the tools and education to feel confident in your body.

Whether you’re a cyclist, runner, or recreational athlete, the goal is the same: to help you perform better, prevent injury, and enjoy movement - on the bike or beyond.
